FreeTextToCAD is a free, browser-based AI tool that turns plain-language descriptions into fully printable 3D CAD models: no software to install, no account required, no CAD experience needed.

Our Mission

Professional CAD software like Fusion 360, SolidWorks, or Onshape can cost hundreds of dollars a year and takes months to learn. We built FreeTextToCAD to prove that everyday makers, students, hobbyists, and engineers shouldn't need either. If you can describe what you want to build, you should be able to build it.

How It Works

Describe your part in plain English with dimensions: the AI builds the 3D geometry, shows you the model, and lets you approve, refine, or give typed feedback. When you're happy, export as STL or OBJ for any 3D slicer.
