These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of FreeTextToCAD ("Service", "we", "us", "our") accessible at freetexttocad.com. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use FreeTextToCAD. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission.
2. Description of Service
FreeTextToCAD is a free, browser-based tool that uses artificial intelligence to generate CAD scripts from text descriptions and images. The generated code is executed in your browser to produce 3D geometry that you can export as STL or OBJ files. The Service is provided "as is" and is free of charge.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Use the Service to generate content that violates any applicable law or regulation
- Attempt to circumvent rate limits or abuse the Service
- Use automated scripts or bots to access the Service without our written permission
- Attempt to reverse engineer, disassemble, or extract the underlying AI models or API keys
- Use the Service to generate content that infringes on third-party intellectual property rights
- Resell or redistribute the Service without permission
4. Rate Limits
To ensure fair access for all users, we impose rate limits: 5 requests per 10 minutes and20 requests per 24 hours per device. These limits may change at any time. We reserve the right to block access to users who abuse the Service.
5. Intellectual Property
5.1 Your Content
You retain ownership of the 3D models you generate using the Service. By submitting prompts, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process them solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

The FreeTextToCAD website, branding, documentation, and guides are owned by us and protected by copyright. You may not reproduce or distribute our content without written permission.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the generated 3D models will be accurate, structurally sound, printable, or fit for any particular purpose. Always verify generated models before use in safety-critical applications.
7. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
8. Third-Party Services
The Service uses third-party APIs (OpenRouter, Cloudflare, Google AdSense). Your use of the Service is also subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of third-party services.
9. Advertisements
The Service displays advertisements provided by Google AdSense. These ads help us keep the Service free. We do not control the specific ads shown and are not responsible for their content.
10. Modifications to the Service
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time, with or without notice. We may also update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the applicable courts of the United States.
